Much of the work in Joshua’s portfolio is influenced by the idea that home is a place of continual return. It is also the place where many spend most of their time and is their largest expenditure. Because of this and the way they affect us, they should be places that support and uplift the events occurring within and around them. The way Joshua works to achieve this is in collaboration with clients and builders to create places that are beautiful, timeless, structurally honest, functional, and overall respond to the individual qualities of their location and events of his clients’ lives.
